How to Calculate a Test Score manually?
There are several different ways to calculate a test score, depending on the type of test and the grading system used. Here are a few examples:
1. For a multiple-choice test with 5 questions, each worth 1 point, a student who answers 4 out of 5 correctly would have a score of 4/5 = 80%.
2. For an essay test with 10 questions, each worth 2 points, a student who earns a total of 16 points out of 20 would have a score of 16/20 = 80%.
3. For a test with a point scale, where the maximum score is 100 and the minimum passing score is 70, a student who earns a total of 85 points would have a score of 85/100 = 85%.
4. For a test with a percentage scale, where the maximum score is 100% and the minimum passing score is 70%, a student who earns a total of 85% would have a score of 85/100 = 85%.
In general, the formula for calculating a test score is:
